Port Moody Neighbourhoods

Anmore

Anmore is a luxurious, peaceful neighbourhood, stretching along the shores of Indian Arm. With semi-rural homes and large acreages along the greenbelt, it’s a great option for nature-lovers. Hiking and canoeing can be enjoyed at nearby Buntzen Lake and Belcarra Regional Park.  Also within easy distance are Newport Village and the Port Moody Recreation Centre.

Barber Street

Here you’ll find mostly detached homes, near Burrard Inlet, with amazing views, tranquility, and easy access to downtown via bus and car. Also perfectly placed for walking trails to Rocky Point Park.

Belcarra

Several estates are located in Belcarra, with homes situated in wooded areas, close to the water. Many homes are perched on bluffs and cliffs above the bay, and offer views of Indian Arm (and Deep Cove across the water), as well as Bedwell Bay. Plenty of hiking trails can be found nearby.

College Park Port Moody

College Park is an affordable neighbourhood on the west side of Port Moody, at the base of Burnaby Mountain.  Bordering Burnaby, and with easy access to Barnet Highway, there are also several bus routes, plus Ioco Skytrain Station. The area offers a variety of housing, plus marinas and trails.

Glenayre

A collection of detached homes at the base of Burnaby Mountain, Glenayre is a great location for those who enjoy hiking and the nature of Burnaby Mountain Conservation Area. With good access to Simon Fraser University, it’s also a good location for students. Lougheed Town Centre is close by, with most needs catered to.

Heritage Mountain

On the north side of Port Moody, Heritage Mountain provides plenty of opportunities for walking and biking. It’s family-friendly, with a variety of homes, so suitable for various income levels.  Some of the homes are right on the greenbelt, whilst others overlook Burrard Inlet.

Mountain Meadows is a small neighbourhood, bordering Coquitlam, on the eastern side of the city. It also has the advantage of being close to one of the best golf courses in Canada, Westwood Plateau Golf & Country Club.

The northern shore of Port Moody offers a wide variety of housing, collected around the Port Moody Inlet, many of which have amazing views of the inlet and of Port Moody, itself.
